Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to grow SCI’s footprint.
- Build and manage relationships with decision-makers, procurement teams, and operations leaders.
- Identify new business opportunities and close deals that align with company goals.
- Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions with customers.
- Represent SCI at industry conferences, trade shows, and site visits (~50% travel required).
- Partner with operations, logistics, and leadership teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Track pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics using our CRM (HubSpot).
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and customer needs.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of outside sales, account management, or business development experience in the industrial, petrochemical, or logistics sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence high-value, complex accounts.
- Comfortable with ~50% travel for client visits, conferences, and site meetings.
- Experience with catalyst handling, logistics, or catalyst storage rental is a strong plus.

Marketing Manager

Space City Industrial is on the move — and we’re looking for a Marketing Manager to help tell our story. This isn’t a “keep the lights on” marketing role. You’ll have the chance to shape our brand from the ground up, create bold campaigns, and bring fresh ideas to life in an industry that’s ready for innovation.
You’ll lead everything from digital strategy and event planning to content creation and customer engagement, working side by side with leadership and sales to drive our growth. If you like variety, impact, and seeing your ideas in action, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Build and execute a marketing strategy that supports company goals and growth.
- Drive digital campaigns across LinkedIn, email, and our website.
- Create standout marketing materials — from brochures and one-pagers to trade show displays.
- Plan and coordinate industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Lead content creation — articles, case studies, press releases, and more.
- Organize and track campaigns in our CRM (HubSpot) to support sales.
- Research market trends and competitor activity to keep us ahead of the curve.
- Partner with sales and operations to ensure a consistent, professional brand voice.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in the industrial, energy, or B2B services sector.
- Creative mindset paired with strong project management skills.
- Experience with LinkedIn, HubSpot, Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Event planning experience is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for conferences and industry events.
